School Calendar

The school calendar is determined by the director with guidance from the board of directors. Please take the time to go over the schedule below and mark the dates on your calendar.

Regarding teacher workdays, The Learning Academy staff appreciates the opportunity to take several days throughout the year to devote to planning, training, and parent-teacher conferences. Thank you for understanding as we close the school on those days in order to ensure continued professional development, so that we may teach your children to the best of our ability.

Regarding holidays, The Learning Academy will be closed on Christmas Day, New Year’s Day and Independence Day, if those holidays fall on a weekday. We also observe Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, and Memorial Day. We will close early at 2 p.m. on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve if those dates fall on a weekday.
