Children with Special Needs
If it is determined by the teacher and the Director through observations that a child is having difficulty adjusting to school, is struggling and is frustrated with the learning situation, or is disrupting the learning environment for other children, the Director and teacher will meet with the parents and discuss their observations. Children may be referred to the county for further evaluation.
The Learning Academy of College Park will work hard to meet the needs of all students to the best of our ability. If the administration feels they are not capable of meeting the needs of a special needs child, we reserve the right to ask the parents to find a more appropriate school.
