TLACP PTO MISSION STATEMENT

The Learning Academy of College Park PTO strives to enhance the educational programs offered to students through volunteering and fundraising. The PTO promotes open communication and cooperation between teachers, parents and the school community.

Welcome to the TLACP PTO

The Learning Academy of College Park PTO is a volunteer organization made up of parents, teachers and administrators who have a special interest in children, families and school. The TLACP PTO works for children. Our members meet together on a monthly basis to organize fund-raising activities, plan events, and openly share information on items regarding children and the school.

Why join the PTO? Because we need you! Because of your children and your community! Because being an informed and involved parent is one of the best investments you and your family can make! Join us at our next meeting which is the first Thursday of every month!

Your children want you to be actively involved with their lives. The TLACP PTO provides the opportunity for you to serve, volunteer and be an important part of your children's education team. It's a great personal satisfaction to know you are working along with teachers and administrators to shape and mold your children's future.

Parental involvement can take many forms. Some parents and families may have the time to get involved in many ways using their talents and resources. Others may only have time for one particular activity. You set your own limits.
