Before and Aftercare Drop In
In order to cater to those families who do not need Before Care and After Care every day, we are offering a drop in service. Each family who chooses this option over package B will have to follow the guidelines for drop in services.
Please note that families with package B take priority over those families who have chosen the drop-in service. The cost of the drop in rate will be a $25.00 flat fee per day. Should there be an increased demand for package B, the drop off option may be discontinued without notice. |
Tuition Guidelines and Payments
- Tuition is paid monthly in advance for ten (10) months, August through May. The first payment is due on the 20th of July and every other payment will be on the 20th of each month. A 10% late fee will be assessed after the 25th of every month.
Make checks payable to The Learning Academy of College Park. Please include your child’s full name on all checks that you write to the school.
No refunds or deductions will be made for temporary absences or illness. A thirty (30) day written notice is required if you must withdraw your child. If you withdraw your child without thirty (30) days written notice, you will be charged the following month’s tuition. This time is requires in order to fill the opening in the class.
- All fees paid to the school such as tuition, registration fees and material fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Tuition paid in advance is non-refundable.
- Tuition is payable in advance on the 20th day of the month. You will be given Tuition Envelopes in which to send your tuition payments. You may leave payments in the drop box located in the school office or pay the Director. Payment is due by the 20th of each month and is late after the 25h of the month. A late fee of 10% will be assessed for late payment. If you remit tuition after the 25h of the month, please include an additional 10% in your payment.
- Returned checks for insufficient funds will carry a $20.00 charge. Families having checks returned twice for insufficient funds must pay on a cash basis going forward.
- Tuition is the same each month regardless of the number of days scheduled and attended. Our classrooms are designed for a specific number of students. We regret that we cannot allow our children to have friends, out-of-town guests or relatives attend with them. Children will only be allowed to attend their classes on their scheduled days. If your child will be out of the program for any length of time, your space can only be held if fees are paid in advance.
- Unpaid Balances: Report cards will not be mailed to the parents of students who have outstanding tuition due. Student records will not be forwarded to the new schools of students who leave The Learning Academy with tuition or Before-/After-School fees unpaid.

- Tax receipts should be requested in the School Office.
