Special Rates:
- Those paying “Package A” rates in 2008 will continue to pay those rates through the end of June, 2009.
- School age Children (K – 5th grade) during vacation weeks (Spring Break and Christmas Week): $140.00
- Summer Camp rates to be determined.

Discounts:
- College Park First UMC Members: 10% discount
- Families: 10% discount on oldest child’s tuition when all eligible children are enrolled fulltime
- Teachers: 5% discount for all public or private school teachers
- Government Employees: 5% discount for all city and county employees
- Airport and Airline Employees: 5% discount
- All children earn one free week after one year’s enrollment.
Annual Fees:
- $75.00 registration fee plus one week’s tuition due per child upon enrollment.
- $75.00 per child/$125 family renewal fee due on anniversary date of first child’s enrollment.
- $125 materials and books fee due per child on July 1
Payment Policy:
- Payment is due on the Friday before service is provided.
- Payment for a full week is required if child will be present 1-5 days.
- Normal weekly rate applies during holidays, unless otherwise specified.
- If child will be absent the full week, half weekly rate payment is required.
Late Payments:
- A $25.00 late fee will be charged if payment is not received by close of business on Monday. An additional $5.00 late fee will be charged for each day thereafter that the balance remains.
- Delinquent accounts (over two weeks) will be referred to a collection agency. Delinquent account holder is responsible for all costs incurred in the collection process.
Returned Checks:
- If your check is returned for any reason, a NSF fee of $35.00 will be charged. Late payment fees accrue until both the returned check and the NSF fee are paid. Payment by cash or money order is expected by close of business on the day you are notified of the returned check. Failure to pay that day will result in accrual of an additional $5.00 per day fee until payment is collected.
- After two returned checks, payment in cash may be required.
Late Pick Up:
- After 6:00 p.m., a late pick up fee of $1.00 per minute per child accrues.
- After 6:30 p.m., we are required by law to contact the Department of Children and Family Services.
Withdrawal:
- Two week written notice is required for a child’s withdrawal for any reason. Upon two week notice, any deposit on hand will be applied to the final invoice.
- Failure to give two week notice will result in forfeiture of any deposit on hand.
- Final two weeks will be billed at the full rate.
- After voluntary withdrawal, the child must be out for at least six weeks before re-enrolling. Upon re-enrollment, payment of registration fee is required.
Holidays:
- The Learning Academy is closed on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day when those holidays fall on a weekday.
- The Learning Academy closes at 3:00 p.m. on New Year’s Eve and Christmas Eve when they fall on a weekday.
Administration:
- Parents are permitted access to all parts of the school while their child is present.
- All clothing must be labeled with the child’s full name.
- Children are not allowed to bring gum, candy, or toys to school unless requested by the teacher.
- By law, children with communicable diseases, diarrhea, or a temperature above 100.5 degrees Fahrenheit may not attend school.
- By law, with certain exceptions, immunization of all children is required. Your child’s immunization record must be provided within 30 days of enrollment, or your child will be withdrawn immediately and any deposits on hand forfeited.
- An ill child must be picked up within 1 hour of notification. Failure to do so results in accrual of a $25 per hour fee.
